This past week I took a much needed vacation.  I spent an entire week at the beach!  What a wonderful and refreshing time, most of which was spent by the pool and walking on the beach.

One thing that was very obvious was all the different types of sandals, EVERYWHERE I looked.  I saw every shape, size, color and brand of sandal you could think of.  Of course I saw all of the popular brands such as Teva, Born, Birkenstock, Harley-Davidson and Gladiator Sandals.  Rainbow, Reef and Keen Sandals were also popular.

As with any beach vacation, many nights were spent shopping.  Everywhere I turned there were stores selling sandals and I couldn’t help but venture into those stores to see what was selling.  As I suspected, all of the brand name sandals mentioned above were popular choices for shoppers.  The main thing I noticed in these popular shoe stores were the HIGH PRICES people were paying for these Brand Name Sandals!
