What is Michael Phelps choice of Sandal?

Michael Phelps has surely caused a lot of buzz in the last couple of weeks.  His domination at the 2008 Beijing Olympics have rocketed Michael to another level.  It took many years for someone to come close to Mark Spitz, how long do you think it will be before someone comes close to Michael Phelps?

Another thing we found interesting is the buzz that Michael Phelps has created in regards to all the endorsements he will be getting.  There’s no doubt every sponsor in the world is trying to get a piece of Michael’s fame and capitalize on his popularity.  We happen to notice on a few blogs and other forums that folks were very interested in every aspect of Michaels life, and it just so happens that because of the interview with Matt Lauer, there has been much talk about what type of sandal or flip flop Phelps was wearing.  Our Sandal Store website doesn’t have any products with Michaels name on it, but you can rest assured if the media finds out what brand name sandal he is wearing, we will definitely offer it on our site for those interested.

The picture of Michael Phelps with Matt Lauer isn’t really clear enough to make out the sandal Phelps is wearing, so we thought we would post it on our blog as well and see if any of you had some good guesses as to what he may be wearing.
