Get a Quality Sandal With Teva!

In 1982, Mark Thatcher designed the Teva sandal with the intentions of having a product that could be worn as a ‘river’ sandal. As an avid outdoorsman, he wanted to create a durable sandal that would withstand serious hiking and rafting. He used nylon ankle straps with a standard thong strap attached to solid rubber soles. He used the Hebrew word for nature to name them, the Teva Sandal. After initially becoming popular among boatmen, the Teva sandal became fashionable among athletes and college students. This popular sandal comes in 140 styles and is considered the first modern sport sandal.
